Obtaining a license

Obtaining a 90-days license is really easy. You just send me a gift from my Amazon-wishlist (you can send me as many items as you like ;-)).
Please include the harddisk-id and your email-address in the text attached to the gift.

You can get your harddisk-id when you start TrapEd (the license-dialog will pop up) or go to the menu-entry "View->License...".

TrapEd license

TrapEd need not to be on the computer where you have installed Vignette. Because you can use TrapEd independant from Vignette (by simply transfering the attr-files to your "TrapEd"-computer) you can use one TrapEd-installation for all your Vignette-projects.

As soon as I receive the gift, I will send you the license-key, which is valid for 90 days with all functionality available.

30-days-license

You can also get a 30-days-license for free if you find an unknown bug (see Known bugs).
Simply email the text from the "Bug-alarm"-Dialog with some description on how you produced this bug along with your operation-system information to the contact-email (see footer) and you will get a 30-days-license as a reward.
The 30-days-license is (as the name might tell) restricted to be used for 30 days only, after this period the license expires.

Free download

With the free download you can only read a maximum of three project-directories. The whole attr-file will be read but you can only do search/replace (or view the content) on templates of the first three projects (including the root-project).

Furthermore you cannot write an attr-file or generate an attr-file from a directory-structure.

If you want to save your work in a valid attr-file, get the import-functionality, want to use the Api or use it for non-private purposes you should send me a gift to get a license (see above).
